मिलिए 13 साल के रूद्र सारस्वत (Rudra Saraswat) से जिसने 13 साल की छोटी सी उम्र में ही इतना कुछ हासिल कर लिया है या हम कहेंगे की दुनिया को और open-source community को दिया है, जितना कई लाखो के package उठाने वाले Engineers ने भी नहीं दिया होगा | हम ऐसा क्यों कह रहे हैं यह आप आगे की पोस्ट को पढ़ कर समझ जाएँगे |

रूद्र सारस्वत अपने आप को एक tech nerd बताते हैं, जो अभी अपनी पढाई पूरी कर रहे हैं, उनका पहला कंप्यूटर उन्हें अपनी माँ से मिला और जिन्होंने बस बेसिक कंप्यूटिंग के लिए उनको अपना लैपटॉप दिया था, पर जल्दी ही रूद्र (Rudra Saraswat) को इतनी जिज्ञासा होने लगी की वो अपना सारा टाइम स्क्रीन पर रहने लगे, उनको कुछ resources मिले जिनसे उन्होंने Android App बनाना सिख लिया, और कुछ छोटे Apps बनाना चालू कर दिया तो इस तरह से इन्होने अपना programming कैरियर चालू किया |

Journey to becoming a Developer |

उन्हें जल्दी ही पता चल गया की उनकी माँ का laptop बहुत पुराना था उससे उनका काम थोडा मुस्किल हो गया, जैसा की Android App Developers को पता होगा की App बनाने में और render करने में बहुत मेमोरी लगती है, अब वो इस चीज का solution ढूंढने लगे, तब उन्हें पता लगा Linux based OS के बारे में या कहे Ubuntu OS के बारे में ( मैं अपने readers को बता दू की लिनक्स एक open source operating system है जिसे आप बिना किसी license के या कहे बिना ख़रीदे यूज़ कर सकते हैं ) Ubuntu की एक खासियत है की वह पुरे ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम को चलने में 300 से 500 MB मेमोरी (RAM) ही लेता है जबकि आइडियल कंडीशन में भी windows 10 और windows 11 4GB तक की Memory (RAM) ले सकते हैं, तो इस तरह से रूद्र का introduction हुआ FOSS community में या कहें open source community में |

अब रुद्र धीरे धीरे Ubuntu कम्यूनिटी में जुड़ने लगे, और बाकी डेवलपर्स के साथ अपने आइडियास रखने लगे। उनकी माँ देखा की बेटा बहुत देर तक कंप्लयूटर में ही लगा रहता है, तो उन्होंने उसका स्क्रीन टाइम 2-3 घंटे कर दिया ओर स्कूल और बाकी के एक्टिविटीज पर ध्यान देने को कहा। तब रुद्र Ubuntu के Unity Desktop पर काम कर रहे थे, और उनको Ubuntu community में बहुत पूछा जाने लगा था। इन 2-3 घंटो में उन्होंने Unity Desktop का जयादातर काम कर लिया था। जब उनकी माँ ने यह सब देखा तब उन्हें एहसास हुआ की उनका बेटा कुछ अच्छा काम कर रहा है, जिसके बाद उन्होंने उसे काम करने की पूरी छूट देदी | कुछ दिनों में ही उन्होंने यूनिटी डेस्कटॉप के बीटा वर्जन को रिलीज किया। जिसके बाद उन्हें फोर्ब्स मैगजीन (Forbes Magazine) में जगह मिली जो कि एक बहुत ही मशहूर मैग्जीन है। यह एक 12 साल के लड़के के लिए बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि थी। यूनिटी डेस्कटॉप (Unity Desktop) एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि थी रुद्र के लिए भी और लिनक्स कम्यूनिटी के लिए भी, क्योंकि यूनिटी डेस्कटॉप के आने के बाद ही। Ubuntu नंबर वन लिनक्स ओएस बन गया था।

BlendOs and future work

अभी वे blendOS पर काम कर रहे हैं। यह काफी ऐडवान्स ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम है, जिसके आने के बाद लिनक्स की सभी डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन से जैसे Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Debian, Fedora and Alma/Rocky Linux सभी के पैकेजेस को एक ही जगह पर चलाया जा सकेगा, इसमें हम ऐन्ड्रॉइड एप्प को भी चला पाएंगे। जिसमें थर्ड पार्टी ऐन्ड्रॉइड स्टोर से ऐन्ड्रॉइड ऐप को डाउनलोड कर पाएंगे। यह अपने आप में एक बहुत ही बेहतरीन प्रोजेक्ट होने वाला है। क्योंकि उसके आने के बाद यूसर को सभी लिनक्स डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन की पैकेजेस एक ही जगह पर मिल जाएंगी। और उन्हें स्पेसिफिक पैकेज का यूज़ करने के लिए अपना Linux Distribution नहीं चेंज करना पड़ेगा।
